If you are reading this, I hope you are well and have had some time to enjoy the World Cup and/or Wimbledon during what is no doubt a very busy time of the year for our respective photography businesses.
It’s been a very busy few weeks here at MyPhotoCTO.com and a bit of a time of mixed emotions for me personally. The reason being is that I have just concluded the sale of MyPhotoCTO.com and PhotoProSEO.com to Texas-based Hawkridge Digital Solutions Inc.
Mixed emotions because I will be sad to leave the businesses behind, but also very happy because I have seen the plans that Hawkridge have to move the businesses forward and they are very exciting!
However, it is time to pass the baton to a new pair of hands with bigger resources and access to an amazing team of SEO and WordPress experts.
Hawkridge Digital Solutions Inc is the vehicle of Texas-based Entrepreneur Amir Calcuttawala and I am so excited for him to be taking over the running of the sites – he has amazing SEO and marketing skills and has a fantastic vision for the future of the site.
As a visitor to our website you might not see any difference to the site for a little while, but you can expect big things in the future, with plenty of new content bringing you lots of tips and ideas for your businesses.
Personally, I would like to thank you all for your support over these past 5 years. Your emails and comments have always been uplifting and it’s been a great ride. Now it’s time for me to put my feet up for a little while.
No doubt Amir and his team will be in contact soon to introduce themselves and I do hope you will give them a warm welcome. I will still be around for a few weeks to ensure a smooth transition, so if you do have any questions about the acquisition, please do not hesitate to ask.

Hawkridge Digital Solutions Inc, based in Texas, USA are delighted to announce that they have acquired the websites, assets and operating businesses of PhotoProSEO.com and MyPhotoCTO.com.
PhotoProSEO.com was established in 2013 by UK-based PPS Digital Marketing Ltd, as a training site for Search Engine Optimisation and Marketing targeted at the Professional Photography marketplace. The business was founded by Alan Hutchison, himself a professional photographer.
In late 2017, PPS Digital Marketing added to their portfolio by launching MyPhotoCTO.com, a service to provide affordable WordPress Support and Hosting for Photographers.
Alan Hutchison commented, “I built PhotoProSEO.com and MyPhotoCTO.com up from scratch, and I am very protective of them, so I am delighted to pass over the reins of these fast growing businesses to a new team who will have the resources to push the sites to new heights and deliver more amazing services to photographers. I am confident that the new owners will share my passion for the business and that they are being passed over to a very safe pair of hands.”
Hawkridge Digital Solutions Inc have taken over the running of the two businesses with immediate effect, and all existing employees will transfer to the new company. Alan will continue to work with Hawkridge Digital Solutions Inc for a short period to ensure a smooth handover.
